Requires experience in open-pit mining operations and Minesight. **Date:** 10 Apr 2026 **Location:** 14 \- LIMA, PE **Company:** Buenaventura At Buenaventura, we are seeking an **Open-Pit Planning Engineer** **– Mining Unit:** **Key Responsibilities:** * Preparation of technical reports and documentation related to compliance with the SK\-1300 reserve reporting standard. * Conducting technical-economic analysis for final pit definition and mining phases under multi-pit scenarios. * Developing medium- and long-term mining plans and haulage sequencing. * Final pit design, mining phase design, and components required to fulfill the Life-of-Mine (LOM) plan. * Coordinating with the Environmental Department to obtain environmental authorizations and permits aligned with long-term mining plans. * Coordinating with the Projects Department on infrastructure required to implement mining plans, such as leaching pads, stockpiles, etc. **Professional Profile:** * Degree-holding and licensed Professional in Mining Engineering. * Minimum 3 years’ experience in open-pit mining operations. * Knowledge of reserve estimation and open-pit design. * Proficiency in Minesight software. * Willingness to work at a Mining Unit. ***IMPORTANT!*** ***Buenaventura does not request any payments of any kind to participate in its selection processes.
