




Job Summary: An importer of computer equipment is seeking a Purchasing and Import Analyst to manage procurement, negotiate with suppliers, and optimize import processes. Key Responsibilities: 1. Manage purchases and negotiate with local and international suppliers. 2. Optimize air and maritime freight and coordinate with the sales department. 3. Keep the import factor below 2%. An importing company with 20 years in the computer equipment market for point-of-sale systems, specializing in advising and providing innovative technological solutions for all businesses, is currently seeking: PURCHASING AND IMPORT ANALYST Responsibilities: Plan and manage overall procurement. Prepare quotation requests and purchase orders to local and international market suppliers. Analyze the procurement plan and present to management the items to be requested based on demand, stock levels, and new business opportunities in coordination with the commercial department. Continuously negotiate with local and international suppliers to secure optimal benefits regarding price, quality, payment terms, and delivery time. Analyze and negotiate air and maritime freight quotations with various freight forwarders according to cargo type: Full Container Load (FCL), Less than Container Load (LCL), and consolidated shipments. Handle import documentation such as: Invoice, Packing List, Bill of Lading, Air Waybill, and translation. Coordinate with the sales department regarding product turnover for inventory older than 3 months (no products older than 3 months should remain in warehouse); develop promotions. Maintain the import factor at a percentage below 2%. Perform counting and verification of imported products in the warehouse. Other duties assigned to the position.
