Job Summary: We are seeking a Structural Engineer to ensure the reliability and safety of critical structures in mining operations, leading integrity programs and applying advanced technologies. Promote structural safety culture Our team is growing — we are currently recruiting a Structural Engineer to join our Global Consulting business line in our Lima office. * **Purpose of the Role** Ensure the reliability, availability, and safety of critical structures in mining operations (e.g., concentrator plants, tailings dams, conveyor belts, crushers, industrial buildings, etc.) through implementation of structural integrity management programs, inspections, risk assessments, and mitigation plans aligned with international standards and local regulations. **About the Role** * Lead visual, non-destructive (NDT), and instrumented advanced structural monitoring programs. * Implement sensor technologies (IoT, drones, remote monitoring) for early fault detection. * Conduct structural risk assessments (FMEA, RBI, RCM applied to structures). * Issue technical reports and recommendations to extend asset service life. * Validate structural designs, repairs, and relevant modifications. * Ensure compliance with Peruvian regulations (DS 132, Sernageomin, Mintrab) and international standards (ISO 55000, API, ACI, ASME). * Promote structural safety culture across the organization. **About You** * Structural or Structural Civil Engineer. * Postgraduate degree in Asset Integrity, Risk Management, or Maintenance is desirable. * 8+ years of experience in mining or heavy industries (petrochemical, energy, infrastructure). * Proven experience in managing integrity of critical structures. * National and international structural design and assessment regulations. * Structural inspection and monitoring methods (NDT, SHM, ultrasonics, vibrations, drones). * Risk management, Lean methodologies, and reliability tools. * Structural modeling software (ANSYS, SAP, Abaqus, or similar). **Why Ausenco?** We support individual growth and aim to enable you to work in a way that leverages your strengths and meets your needs.
