Driven by a culture of flexibility, growth, and innovation, join us to build a lasting legacy in safety and simulation. **Simulator Technician 1** **Responsibilities:** * Learn and perform preventive maintenance tasks on simulators and associated systems. * Assist in diagnosing and correcting issues in simulators and associated systems. * Use the maintenance management system to record and track maintenance activities. * Complete all assigned training activities. * Perform pre-flight and post-flight tasks on designated simulators. * Conduct basic visual alignments. * Execute the Qualification Test Guide (QTG) automatically. * Assist with hardware refreshes and modifications. * Learn and comply with CAE’s quality management system. * Provide customer support and respond promptly to customer needs. * Perform maintenance tasks to preserve simulators as required. * Perform administrative tasks as required. * Provide support to the technical services team as required. **Requirements:** * Technical diploma in Electronic Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field in aviation and technology. * Minimum 2 years of relevant work experience. * Ability to interpret system drawings and schematics. * Computer literacy. * Familiarity with tools and the Microsoft Office suite. * Intermediate level of English. **Physical Requirements:** * Frequently climb up and down stairs, scaffolds, ramps, and poles. * Frequently change body positions, including working in confined spaces. * Occasionally remain in stationary positions. * Frequently lift, lower, or move objects weighing up to 20 kilograms. * Constantly communicate with others to exchange information. * Frequently perform repetitive motions with wrists, hands, or fingers. **About CAE** =================== *At CAE, our mission is clear: to help make the world safer.
