Job Summary: We are seeking a Mechanical Engineering Manager to lead the development and supervise mechanical designs for mining and industrial projects, ensuring compliance with standards. Key Responsibilities: 1. Lead mechanical engineering development in projects. 2. Supervise the preparation and review of designs and technical specifications. 3. Validate mechanical designs of crushers and associated equipment. VyP ICE, a Peruvian contracting company with over 25 years of dedicated experience supporting major mining companies in the country, is currently seeking 01 "Mechanical Engineering Manager". **Academic Qualifications:** Licensed Mechanical Engineer, registered and duly authorized. **Experience:** * Minimum 5 years of experience as Mechanical Engineering Manager, Mechanical Engineering Lead, or Senior Engineer in mining or industrial projects. * Proven experience in crusher design, crushing systems, and mineral handling. * Experience in developing and reviewing calculation reports, technical specifications, fabrication and assembly drawings. * Experience in multidisciplinary coordination (mechanical, civil, electrical, and instrumentation). **Knowledge:** * Design of crushing equipment and systems (primary, secondary, and tertiary crushers). * Design of conveyor belts, chutes, hoppers, and mechanical structures. * ASME, ASTM, API standards and applicable design codes. * Design and modeling software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Inventor, or similar). * Project management and engineering control. * Microsoft Office and MS Project. **Main Responsibilities:** * Lead mechanical engineering development for projects. * Supervise the preparation and review of drawings, calculation reports, and technical specifications. * Coordinate with engineering disciplines to ensure design integration. * Validate mechanical designs of crushers and associated equipment, ensuring compliance with technical standards and client requirements. * Provide technical support during fabrication, assembly, and commissioning phases. * Manage resources and adherence to engineering schedules. * Ensure compliance with quality, safety, and current regulatory standards.
