Position Summary: We are seeking a Professional Mechanical Engineering Intern to support the design and development of industrial refrigeration equipment, including 3D modeling and structural analysis. Collaboration in basic technical analysis of structures A Professional Mechanical Engineering Intern is required to join the Engineering team at **Smartcold** in Ica. The candidate will support the design and development of industrial refrigeration equipment, participating in 3D modeling, drafting, quantity take-offs, bill of materials (BOM) preparation, and basic structural analysis. Responsibilities * Support 3D modeling of components, subassemblies, and assemblies of refrigeration equipment in SolidWorks. * Prepare fabrication drawings for metal structures, cabinets, and supports, including sectional views and elevations. * Collaborate on detail drawings (pipe bends, joints, and anchoring details) under the supervision of an industrial draftsman. * Support basic technical analysis of stresses and deformations in structures, applying fundamentals of mechanics of materials. * Prepare and update bills of materials (BOM) and perform quantity take-offs for structures, piping, and hardware. Requirements * Student in final academic cycles (starting from the 10th semester) or recent graduate in Mechanical\-Electrical Engineering (with focus on mechanical specialization) or Mechatronics (with mechanical specialization). * Experience: Minimum 3\-6 months in the industrial sector. * Knowledge: Intermediate-level office software proficiency. * Availability: 100% on-site work. * Must reside in Ica or have availability to work in **Subtanjalla.** Benefits * Salary between **S/ 1,130 and S/ 1,300**, commensurate with experience. * FOLA insurance. * Opportunity for **career progression**. **Working Hours** **Monday to Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 5:45 p.m.** Salary: S/.1,130\.00 \- S/.1,300\.00 per month Workplace: On-site employment
