Helatonys S.A.C. – Helados Yamboly is seeking a qualified professional to fill the position of SSOMA Assistant (Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental Management).
**ACADEMIC QUALIFICATIONS:**
* Graduate of Safety Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
* Specialization or training in SSOMA.
* Courses and/or diplomas in Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) and/or high-risk work.
**REQUIREMENTS:**
* Minimum one (1) year of experience in the industrial sector, performing duties in equivalent or similar positions.
* Knowledge of Law No. 29783 – Occupational Safety and Health Law and its Regulation, Supreme Decree No. 005\-2012\-TR.
* Knowledge of hazard identification, risk assessment, and control determination (IPERC).
* Knowledge of environmental management and handling of hazardous and non-hazardous waste.
* Knowledge of first aid.
* Advanced proficiency in Excel.
* Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office.
* Proficiency in AutoCAD.
* Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team.
* Availability to conduct nighttime inspections when required.
**MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:**
* Assist the SSOMA Manager in executing and monitoring departmental activities, objectives, and goals.
* Periodically monitor compliance with SSOMA programs and activities across assigned projects and areas.
* Prepare and/or assist in developing OSH management documents, such as procedures, instructions, forms, matrices, and internal regulations.
* Conduct field inspections to identify substandard conditions and acts, as well as potential risks to the safety and health of employees and contractors.
* Conduct unannounced inspections to verify compliance with established OSH controls.
* Support hazard identification, risk assessment, and control determination (IPERC).
* Manage, track, and distribute Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to various departments.
* Develop and update SSOMA indicators, reports, and statistics.
* Support nighttime inspections when required.
* Support hazardous and non-hazardous waste management and control, including completing and updating relevant records.
* Perform other SSOMA-related duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.
