Position Summary: Laboratory Assistant supporting quality through timely testing and analysis to ensure result safety, reliability, and food safety. Key Highlights: 1. Conducts periodic audits of methods, GLP, and safety. **Position Summary:** Laboratory Assistant**Location:** Cajamarca \- Peru**Schedule:** Full-time**Reports to:** SHE\&QA Coordinator **Position Purpose:** Professional quality assistant support provided through timely execution and communication of required quality tests and analyses to ensure analytical result safety and reliability, as well as food safety of our semi-finished products. **A Day in the Life of...** * Responsible for conducting physical and chemical, microbiological analyses. * Responsible for sampling and monitoring fresh milk routes and payment samples to comply with the physicochemical and microbiological monitoring plan. * Responsible for preparation of reagents and materials for physicochemical and microbiological monitoring. * Responsible for implementing the Laboratory Self-Control Plan. * Responsible for performing laboratory inventory according to established frequency. * Comply with ISO 17025 requirements and requirements of integrated management system standards (ISO 17025, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001\). * Conduct periodic audits of vertical methods, GLP, and safety. * Know, apply, improve, and keep updated the Self-Control Plan (SCP), chemical compatibility matrix, TSRA risk matrix, Quality competency matrix, and analytical competency matrix. * Maintain up-to-date inventory of materials and culture media and ensure FIFO. **What Will Make You Successful:*** University graduate or equivalent in Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, Chemistry, Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, or related fields. * Minimum 1 year of experience as a Laboratory Assistant or Intern in food, water, and environmental testing laboratories. * Knowledge of physicochemical and microbiological analysis techniques. * Knowledge of ISO 17025\. **Competencies:*** Proactivity * Effective communication * Teamwork * Cooperation
