We are currently seeking the best talent for **Warehouse Assistant \- VAS.** In this role, you will play a vital part in our success. If you are interested in this position and want to build a career with our company, we invite you to join our team! **What are the main responsibilities of this role?** * Coordinate the operational intake of general cargo destined for temporary warehouse 3014\. * Perform package tallying within established customs deadlines and forward related documentation to the respective departments. * Verify the condition of packages during tallying and proceed with their weighing. * Collaborate and support process improvement initiatives related to infrastructure management and other aspects of compliance with APMTC's concession contract. * Receive cargo directed to DT 3014 (both import and export), perform tallying, weighing, and send documentation to the relevant departments. * Conduct inventory of cargo directed to DT 3014\. * Monitor cargo entries and exits to and from DT 3014\. * Coordinate operationally with various customers, customs agents, users, and transporters. * Verify the conditions of the yard or area where cargo directed to DT 3014 will be stored after discharge from the vessel. * Verify the arrival condition of vehicles, units, trucks, machinery, etc., directed to DT 3014 from roll-on/roll-off vessels. * Coordinate and/or request from the Resource Coordinator, Shift Manager, and/or GC Planner the allocation and distribution of support personnel and assigned machinery for the shift. * Optimize resources and improve loading or unloading rates of vessels at the berth, in coordination with the Shift Manager. * Receive handover information during shift change regarding new instructions and agreements from the previous shift, such as dispatch scheduling, discharge sequence, tracking, among others. * Be responsible for conducting a safe operation and preventing damage to cargo. Ensure all team members have the necessary information and tools to perform their duties during discharge, loading, and/or movement to storage locations for rolling units. * Ensure proper completion of equipment checklists by machine operators. * Coordinate with TECH any equipment failures (reporting and follow-up) and breakdowns during the shift. **What kind of talent are we looking for?** * Completed secondary education. * Experience in cargo handling and identification, and management of dangerous goods. * Class A1 driver's license. * 2 years of experience as an operational or warehouse assistant.
