We are currently seeking top talent for the position of **Warehouse Assistant - VAS**. In this role, you will play a vital part in our success. If you are interested in this opportunity and want to build a career with our company, we invite you to join our team! **What are the main responsibilities of this role?** * Coordinate the operational intake of general cargo destined for temporary warehouse 3014. * Perform cargo tallying within established customs deadlines and forward documentation to the relevant departments. * Verify the condition of cargo units during tallying and proceed with weighing. * Collaborate and support process improvements related to infrastructure and compliance with APMTC’s concession contract. * Receive cargo directed to DT 3014 (both import and export), perform tallying, weighing, and send documentation to the respective departments. * Conduct inventory checks for cargo directed to DT 3014. * Monitor and control cargo entries and exits to and from DT 3014. * Coordinate operations with various clients, customs agents, users, and transporters. * Inspect the condition of the yard or storage area for cargo directed to DT 3014 after discharge from the vessel. * Verify the arrival condition of vehicles, units, trucks, machinery, etc., directed to DT 3014 from roll-on/roll-off vessels. * Coordinate with or request from the Resource Coordinator, Shift Manager, and/or GC Planner the allocation and distribution of support personnel and assigned machinery for the shift. * Optimize resources and improve vessel loading or unloading rates at the dock in coordination with the Shift Manager. * Receive shift handover information regarding new instructions and agreements from the previous shift, such as dispatch scheduling, discharge sequence, follow-up actions, among others. * Be responsible for conducting operations safely and preventing cargo damage. Ensure all team members have the necessary information and tools to perform their duties during unloading, loading, and/or moving rolling units to storage areas. * Ensure operators properly complete equipment checklists. * Coordinate with TECH regarding equipment failures (reporting and follow-up) and breakdowns during the shift. **What kind of talent are we looking for?** * Completed secondary education. * Experience in cargo handling and identification, management of dangerous goods. * Class A1 driver's license. * 2 years of experience as an operational or warehouse assistant.
