DESCRIPTION A leading industrial and construction materials organization is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to join its IT Security team, playing a key role in protecting the organization’s technological infrastructure and continuously improving its security posture. This team aims to reduce cybersecurity risks by implementing, operating, and improving technical controls, ensuring proper execution of security initiatives across on\-premise, cloud, and network environments, as well as coordinating with technical and business teams for vulnerability management, incident response, and security projects. **Main Responsibilities:** * Analyze, define, and translate technical and operational requirements into concrete actions to improve the organization’s cybersecurity posture. * Evaluate approved technology architectures and designs, ensuring correct implementation of security controls in production environments. * Design and execute operational security plans related to hardening, secure communications, least privilege, and reduction of technological risks. * Manage and monitor vulnerability management across on\-premise, cloud, and hybrid environments. * Analyze, justify, and coordinate technological changes (RFCs) within Change Advisory Boards (CABs). * Provide technical leadership in responding to cybersecurity incidents and supporting strategic security projects. * Document technical knowledge regarding cybersecurity solutions and the digital ecosystem’s security architecture. * Propose and evaluate improvements to security controls, identifying technological risks and associated mitigations. * Lead or support the implementation of cybersecurity tools and solutions at the corporate level. * Evaluate emerging technologies that enhance threat detection, prevention, and response capabilities. * Coordinate with IT, architecture, operations, and vendor teams to ensure correct implementation of security controls. REQUIREMENTS **Academic Qualifications:** * Bachelor's degree or higher in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields. **Experience:** * Minimum 3 years of experience in roles related to cybersecurity or technological infrastructure. * Experience in network, communications, systems, or cloud platform security. * Experience in vulnerability management, system hardening, or implementation of security controls (preferably in complex or corporate environments). **Technical Knowledge:** * Advanced knowledge of IT infrastructure technologies: networks, communications, operating systems, databases, and servers. * Experience with cybersecurity tools and concepts: firewalls, access control, security monitoring, vulnerability management. * Knowledge of cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or others), including services such as serverless functions, databases, and managed services. * Vulnerability management and technological risk analysis. * Communication security, system hardening, and the principle of least privilege. * Familiarity with change management processes (RFCs) and CABs. * Knowledge of ITIL and COBIT (preferred). * Intermediate English (written and spoken).
