Job Summary: We are seeking a Backhoe Operator for the hydrocarbons sector, responsible for operating heavy machinery safely and efficiently in field operations. Key Responsibilities: 1. Comply with SSOMA (Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental Management) procedures and standards. **JOB OPENING / BACKHOE OPERATOR – HYDROCARBONS SECTOR** **Location:** Lima (with availability to travel) **Work Mode:** On-site – 28x14 work schedule **Availability:** Immediate We are currently seeking a **Backhoe Operator** for the hydrocarbons sector, responsible for operating heavy machinery safely and efficiently in field operations, strictly adhering to established safety standards and procedures. **Main Responsibilities:** * Operate backhoe for excavation, loading, grading, and earthmoving tasks. * Conduct pre-operational equipment inspections prior to commencing work. * Verify safety conditions of the worksite. * Perform excavation maneuvers according to plans and technical specifications. * Coordinate activities with the supervisor and field personnel. * Promptly report mechanical failures or unsafe equipment conditions. * Comply with Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental Management (SSOMA) procedures and standards. * Maintain order, cleanliness, and good condition of assigned equipment. **Requirements:** * Completed secondary education and technical training in heavy machinery operation (preferred). * Minimum 3 years of experience as a Backhoe Operator (mandatory). * Experience in the hydrocarbons, mining, or industrial construction sectors. * Valid Heavy Machinery Operator certification. * Knowledge of excavation, grading, and trenching work. * Valid driver’s license appropriate for the vehicle type. * Availability to work under a 28x14 schedule and to travel as required by operations. **We Offer:** * Formal employment registration in accordance with applicable law. * Market-competitive remuneration based on experience. * 28x14 work schedule. * Career development opportunities within the hydrocarbons sector. * Work location: Field operations. * Work location: On-site employment.
