Company Description \-Anglo American, in partnership with Mitsubishi Corporation, is developing the Quellaveco mining operation—one of the world’s largest copper deposits—located in the Moquegua region in southern Peru. We are committed to becoming partners for the future—operating safely, sustainably, and responsibly. Job Description \-Anglo American is seeking a Mine Development Supervisor. Safely and efficiently supervise assigned resources to execute mine development activities under Anglo American’s operational model and risk framework, aligned with monthly forecasts, to meet the Mine Development Superintendent’s budget and KPIs. **KEY RESPONSIBILITIES** * Identify deviations from technical specifications included as inputs in the weekly plan and OMS. * Manage personnel under supervision: absences, training, routines, and KPI compliance. * Ensure compliance with safety documentation management: process sheets, IPERC, procedures, and standards. * Manage contractors in accordance with scope, schedule, and budget. * Road construction and maintenance management: Execute activities outlined in the weekly plan; apply base course, wearing course, and ballast to roads. * Tyre management: Participate in scrap tyre investigations based on root cause analysis; track actions and controls defined in tyre root cause analyses; analyze the effectiveness of controls implemented on haul roads; among others. * Dust management: Use the dashboard to monitor PM10 levels and take action per the established TARP; manage water tankers for road watering according to phase distribution and/or PM10 concentration levels in the mine; coordinate activation of foggers at identified working faces. * Minor loading management: Profiling with excavators and auxiliary blasting. * Provide inputs for weekly plans, P12W, and OMS. * Accept/reject tasks for scheduling per AAOM. * Ensure critical controls are implemented at the worksite. * Carry out tasks assigned by supervisor or superintendent, related to the same hierarchical level within Mine Management. **SHE FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES** * Know and apply Quellaveco’s values, principles, and SHE Policy, contributing to Zero Harm. * Comply with, and ensure compliance with, legal requirements and other commitments undertaken by Anglo American Quellaveco, as well as internal Management System standards, procedures, and regulations—including training, awareness, and Zero Harm culture-building sessions. * Ensure implementation of control measures for identified SHE hazards and risks at the worksite to enable safe operations. * Promptly report unsafe acts and conditions, as well as incidents. * Ensure continuous improvement in Safety, Occupational Health, and Environmental Management. **Qualifications \-EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS** * Professional degree in Civil or Mining Engineering. * Valid professional registration (mandatory). * Class A1 driver’s license, with minimum two years’ mining driving experience (mandatory). * Basic English proficiency (desirable). **EXPERIENCE** * Four years’ experience in open-pit mining operations.
