**Main Responsibilities**
* Conduct market analysis (benchmarking), evaluating prices, trends, competition, and business opportunities, and prepare corresponding cost sheets (procurement, transportation, operations, and logistics) to support decision-making in the Commercial Department.
* Prospect new suppliers through email campaigns, sales calls, visits, LinkedIn, business directories, and other prospecting tools, registering and maintaining an up-to-date Prospect Database and Commercial Pipeline to generate new business opportunities and strategic alliances.
* Manage and monitor the assigned supplier portfolio, keeping the Supplier Database and Commercial Database updated, ensuring continuity of negotiations and compliance with commercial agreements, and providing account support as required.
* Monitor purchases made during the validity of contracts, purchase orders, or commercial agreements, verifying supplier adherence to agreed terms.
* Coordinate with suppliers, carriers, and the Operations Department on cargo scheduling, vehicle availability, pickup dates, and other necessary logistics resources to ensure fulfillment of the commercial schedule.
* Request, evaluate, and manage quotations for transportation, forklifts, machinery, equipment, and operational services, as well as other resources required for executing commercial operations.
**Requirements:**
* Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, or related fields.
* Technical, bachelor’s, and/or graduate degree.
* Minimum 1 year of experience in selling or purchasing recyclable materials.
* Basic English proficiency.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel.
* Knowledge of supplier prospecting and acquisition techniques in the recycling sector.
* Basic knowledge of metal valuation, metallic waste classification, and purchasing criteria.
* Knowledge of price, cost, and margin analysis for purchasing metallic materials.
* Familiarity with commercial tools and systems (CRM and/or ERP) (desirable)
