**Sales Back Up Executive**

We are seeking a **Sales Back Up Executive** to provide administrative and operational support to the sales team, ensuring efficient commercial process execution, improving customer experience, and facilitating deal closure.

**Key Responsibilities**
* Independently or under guidance from assigned salesperson(s), prepare quotations.
* Request air, ocean, land, and FOB-related charges from various countries of origin.
* Request SLI rates from local Procurement.
* Enter rates into the system and verify data accuracy.
* Extract information from GEODIS intranet, G\-R8, etc.
* Respond to internal and external customer inquiries regarding quotations and rates.
* Follow up on quotations as required.
* Manage adjustment requests to optimize shipment profitability.
* Notify the team when the Procurement department updates supplier options.
* Ensure profitability of quoted business by verifying that offered options exist and that deals do not incur losses. Additionally, monitor local conditions and validity of carrier rates to avoid errors that could later result in company losses; also provide correct expiration dates based on available net rates.
* Stay updated on market information, rate references, and services, always seeking the best options for both the customer and Geodis.
* Always offer multiple options to the customer to deliver superior service and maximize company profitability.
* Perform duties following established procedures, instructions, and work checklists.
* Ensure every quotation is entered into the system and includes all notes limiting obligations and defining service and/or conditions for customers.
**Requirements**
* Technical and/or university education.
* Basic knowledge of foreign trade (Comex).
* Languages: Intermediate English (ability to understand and write).
* Intermediate proficiency in PC, Word, Outlook, and Excel.
* Familiarity with import/export processes.
* Good knowledge of IT tools used in import/export.
* Proficient in Incoterms.
* Strong internal and external communication skills.
* Good knowledge of computer systems, with willingness to learn.
* Ability to effectively plan working time.
* CargoWise knowledge (desirable).
