Job Summary:
Coordinate and execute customs processes—from document management to cargo release—ensuring efficiency and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Manages air waybills and dispatch vouchers for respective airlines.
2. Verifies and reviews dispatch documentation, submitting it to Customs for processing.
3. Ensures cargo delivery by carriers occurs under optimal conditions, checking seals and external integrity of loose cargo packages.
4. Submits claim and return files to Customs, ensuring they are properly numbered and organized.
5. Processes Visto Bueno (approval) and export permits (cargo releases) through required digital platforms.
6. Conducts pre-inspection, physical inspection, submission of the Customs Declaration for Goods (DAM), as well as collection of release authorizations and cargo withdrawal.
7. Coordinates with Customs authorities, carriers, client warehouses, and other entities to facilitate cargo entry or withdrawal at the Storage Terminal, minimizing operational time.
8. Keeps the Operations Manager and Sector Assistant informed about the status of assigned operations, consistently reporting completed tasks.
9. Supervises the loading process to ensure adherence to established procedures.
10. Monitors the release process and the status of files submitted to Customs.
11. Performs any additional duties assigned, contributing to the department’s smooth operation.
Position Profile:
Education: · Diploma in Customs Management. · SUNAT Customs Assistant Certification.
Experience: Minimum 2 years in a similar role, preferably within the logistics or customs sector.
Skills: Effective Communication, Customer Orientation, Problem Solving, Adaptability, Teamwork.
Knowledge: · General Customs Law and its Regulations (verified). · SENASA clearance procedures and regulations. · Digital tools for document management and dispatch tracking.
