Job Summary: Operational support in underground mining, assisting with drilling, ground support, and equipment maintenance at the MAXPALA Mining Unit. Key Highlights: 1. Providing operational support to the Jumbo operator during drilling. 2. Assisting with drilling and ground support tasks. 3. Maintaining the work area and controlling consumables inventory. *The MAXPALA Mining Unit* is an underground mining operation dedicated to extracting polymetallic minerals—primarily gold, silver, lead, and copper—conducted under safety, efficiency, and environmental responsibility standards. **Requirements:** ✅ Completed secondary education or incomplete technical studies. ✅ Minimum 1 year of experience in mechanized underground mining. ✅ Knowledge of safe handling of electrical cables (trailing cable). ✅ Knowledge of water and compressed air connections. ✅ Basic knowledge of drilling steels (rods, bits, and adapters). ✅ Experience supporting drilling and ground support activities. ✅ Availability to work under a mining work regime. **Main Responsibilities:** ✅ Provide operational support to the Jumbo operator during drilling operations. ✅ Extend, connect, and protect the equipment’s electrical cables and water hoses. ✅ Assist with changing drill bits, rods, and drilling accessories. ✅ Support mesh painting and preparation of work areas. ✅ Perform basic rock scaling prior to equipment positioning. ✅ Keep the work area clean and free of obstacles. ✅ Monitor inventory levels of rods, bits, and drilling accessories. ✅ Follow safety procedures and report substandard conditions. **Benefits:** * 14-days-on/7-days-off work schedule * Formal employment with all statutory benefits * Market-competitive remuneration * Transportation from Arequipa to the Mining Unit and return * Meals and accommodation provided * Professional development opportunities * Excellent working environment * Ongoing training **Remuneration:** \- Salary: S/105 \- Bonus: S/200 * **Send documented CV \+ Adult Certificate to:** conectandotalentoscv@gmail.com * **Contact:** 928 321 306 Work Location: On-site employment
