Application of customs regulations and generation of tax assessments New job opportunity! At Contemar Logistics, we are looking for a customs liquidator and reviewer. The following responsibilities are outlined: Ø Correctly classify goods. Ø Prepare customs declarations. Ø Review and approve received customs documentation. Ø Email customs document requirements to respective department specialists. Ø Review Certificates of Origin. Ø Respond to notifications issued by the customs administration. Ø Provide advisory services. Ø Correctly apply INCOTERMS, valuation rules, tariff classification, restricted or prohibited goods, international treaties and agreements, release codes, and other customs regulations. Ø Generate tax assessments applicable to imports or other customs regimes. Ø Perform electronic corrections. Ø Support preparation of files for submission via MPV. Ø Comply with applicable legal, regulatory, and administrative provisions in customs matters. KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS: \- Knowledge of tariff classification, the General Customs Law and its regulations, as well as other related regulations. \- Familiarity with the Softpad system \- Solid expertise in DUAS liquidation and review. \- Knowledge of Restricted Goods \- Proficiency in MPV, correction requests, and SOL platform operations. \- Mastery of the Customs Tariff and International Agreements Employment Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: S/.2,100\.00 \- S/.2,500\.00 per month Work Location: On-site employment
