We Are Hiring! **Electromechanical Installation Supervisor \- Substations and Power Systems (Lima Metro \- Line 2\)** **Location:** Lima, Peru (Willingness to work rotating shifts / underground construction sites) **Sector:** Railway Infrastructure / Transportation / High Voltage / Electromechanics **About the Role:** We are looking for an **Electromechanical Installation Supervisor or Lead Specialist** with solid experience in large-scale electrical infrastructure projects (High and Medium Voltage) to join the team for the **Lima Metro Line 2**. You will be responsible for overseeing, on-site, the installation, wiring, interconnection, and commissioning support of power systems, traction substations, and gas-insulated switchgear (GIS), ensuring the project's stringent quality standards, railway safety requirements, and schedule compliance. **What Will Be Your Key Challenges?** * **Supervise and direct on-site** electromechanical installation of traction substations and high- and medium-voltage substations for the railway project. * **Coordinate mechanical and electrical installation** of critical equipment: power transformers, distribution switchgear, circuit breakers, and gas-insulated switchgear (**GIS**). * **Lead connection work**, structured cabling, cable tagging, yellow marking, and signal tracing for control, protection, and automation systems (SCADA systems / railway protection systems) in panels. * **Ensure compliance with quality protocols** (per ISO 9001\) and strict Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards specific to underground works, tunnels, and confined spaces. * **Provide specialized technical support** during insulation testing, high-voltage (Hi\-Pot) testing of GIS switchgear trains, and commissioning prior to energization. * Accurately interpret control schematics, electrical diagrams, and single-line diagrams to resolve design deviations or interferences directly at the construction site. **Who Are We Looking For?** * **Education:** Electrical Engineer, Mechanical\-Electrical Engineer, or Certified Technician with extensive professional experience and a valid technical license. * **Experience:** Minimum 8–10 years of proven experience in electromechanical installation of power substations or large-scale infrastructure projects (prior experience in metro systems, railways, traction substations, or GIS substations from Siemens, ABB, or similar manufacturers is highly desirable). * **Essential Technical Knowledge:** * Installation, coupling, and commissioning of medium- and high-voltage switchgear trains. * Advanced interpretation of control, automation, and power electrical drawings. * Handling of power cabling systems and auxiliary AC/DC service networks. * **Required Certifications:** * Valid certification or training for Safe Work at Heights and in Confined Spaces. * Familiarity with quality management systems (ISO 9001\). * **Skills:** Strong leadership of technical crews, rigorous safety orientation (zero accidents), ability to solve problems under pressure in underground environments, and excellent communication skills. * **Availability:** Willingness to work in Lima City under the project-defined regimes and shifts (including night shifts if tunnel progress requires it). **What Do We Offer?** * Direct employment with full statutory benefits in Peru from day one. * Competitive salary package commensurate with the high level of specialization and experience required. * A historic opportunity to leave a lasting impact on the country’s most modern and largest underground transportation infrastructure project (Lima Metro Line 2). * Job stability, career progression, and a work environment equipped with world-class cutting-edge technology. **Do You Match This Profile and Want to Be Part of Lima’s Transportation Transformation?** Apply now by sending your updated CV indicating your salary expectations and availability!
