Job Summary: We are seeking an Intermediate Mechanical Designer for our Minerals & Metals business line, focused on drawing development, layouts, and coordination with engineers. Key Highlights: 1. Our team in Peru is growing, and we are currently recruiting an **Mechanical Designer, Intermediate** to join our Minerals \& Metals business line in our San Isidro office. **About the Role**: * Deliver general arrangement and mechanical drawings on time and to required quality standards. * Develop mechanical layouts. * Maintain effective communication and coordination with mechanical design engineers. * Apply project and corporate standards (drawing standards, mechanical equipment and conveyor belt standards) and coordinate with designers from different disciplines. **About You** * Graduate professional in Technical Design and Drafting (Drafter). * Minimum of 7 years of verifiable work experience in engineering consulting firms. * Experience in mining projects (desirable). * Experience in pre\-feasibility and feasibility engineering; basic and detailed engineering. * Experience in designing and developing process plant layouts, conveyor system design, reagent area definition, water and air services. Additionally, experience in producing general arrangement drawings, conveyor belt data sheets, mechanical arrangement drawings, and strong capability in 3D modeling. * Computer Skills/ IT: + Microsoft Office: Basic + AutoCAD Plant 3D + AutoCAD: Advanced + **SmartPlant 3D (Mandatory)** + Navisworks: Intermediate * Intermediate-level English language proficiency. **Why Ausenco?** We support individual growth, and our goal is to enable you to work in a way that leverages your strengths and meets your needs.
