Job Summary: We are seeking an Accounting Assistant with mining industry experience to supervise and execute accounting procedures, record transactions, prepare reports, and support accounting closings. Support monthly and annual accounting closings **Date:** 13 May 2026 **Location:** 06 \- CAJAMARCA, PE **Company:** Buenaventura At Buenaventura, we are currently seeking an **Accounting Assistant – Mining Unit** for one of our northern units. **Key Responsibilities:** * Supervise and ensure accurate entry of accounting documents into SAP. * Supervise and execute compliance with organizational accounting procedures. * Record and validate accounting transactions according to internal policies and current regulations. * Prepare accounting and financial reports for immediate supervisors. * Support monthly and annual accounting closings. * Perform account analysis and manage collections of Non-Commercial invoices. * Carry out additional accounting and administrative support activities as required by the department. **Professional Profile:** * Certified Accountant with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in similar roles, preferably within mining, industrial, or related companies. * Experience in accounting management, account analysis, and document control. * Intermediate-level proficiency in SAP S/4HANA. * Proficiency in Power BI for report and indicator development. * Advanced Excel skills and comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office. * Knowledge of accounting, tax, and internal control regulations. * Experience handling SUNAT requirements and supporting audits. ***IMPORTANT!*** ***Buenaventura does not request any type of payment to participate in its selection processes.
