Job Summary: We are seeking an Instrumentation Technician to ensure optimal performance of industrial automation systems through calibration, programming of SEW variable frequency drives, and diagnostics of SIEMENS PLCs, thereby ensuring operational continuity and process improvement. Propose improvements in instrumentation, control, and maintenance plans Our client, a renowned multinational industrial company, is looking for **an Instrumentation Technician:** **Job Mission:** · Ensure optimal performance of industrial automation systems through precise instrumentation and calibration of equipment, efficient programming of SEW variable frequency drives, and diagnosis and resolution of faults in SIEMENS PLC logic (S7\-300, S7\-400, and S7\-1200\), thereby ensuring operational continuity, safety, and continuous improvement of production processes. **Responsibilities:** · Perform instrumentation and calibration of automation equipment to correct process signal variations, applying field adjustments and validations to ensure reliable measurements. · Carry out programming and configuration of SEW variable frequency drives to optimize their performance, adjusting operational parameters and conducting tests to ensure stable and efficient operation. · Perform basic PLC programming and fault-finding on SIEMENS PLCs (S7\-300, S7\-400, S7\-1200\), analyzing control logic and correcting errors to guarantee operational continuity of automated systems. · Execute instrumentation maintenance tasks as outlined in the maintenance program and record them in SAP. · Conduct routine inspections of equipment on the assigned production line. · Actively participate in new installations involving automation and instrumentation. · Analyze and identify root causes of unplanned production line stoppages related to electricity and instrumentation issues. · Provide technical support to assigned production lines as needed, in coordination with supervision. · Ensure proper implementation of the 5S methodology in the work area. · Understand and identify workplace hazards, safeguarding both personal safety and that of others; apply safety standards and protocols to prevent accidents. · Ensure compliance with SIMA requirements, local regulations, and corporate policies. · Actively participate in training sessions assigned by management. · Propose improvements in instrumentation, control, and maintenance plans. · Suggest new automation systems and equipment. · Understand and comply with the Integrated Management System policy. **Requirements:** · Technical degree: Industrial Automation Technician, Industrial Electronics, Mechatronics, or related fields. · Diploma, specialization, or courses in instrumentation, industrial control systems, variable frequency drives, PLC programming, and SCADA. · Diploma, specialization, or courses in Automation and/or Industry 4\.0. · Two years of relevant experience in Electricity and/or Instrumentation roles within industrial companies. · Technical knowledge: SAP Production Module (basic), Intermediate MS Office, proficiency in SIEMENS PLC programming software (STEP 7, TIA Portal, WINCC). · Availability for 100% on-site work at the plant located in Cercado de Lima. · Schedule: Monday to Sunday, with one day off per week.
