PROGRESSIVE RESPONSIBILITIES: * Develop modules, reports, and automations on Odoo 19 ERP (Python / PostgreSQL), using version control and team-based development. * Integrate platforms via REST/SOAP/XML-RPC APIs: Kaseya, Datto, monitoring and backup systems. * Support Linux server administration, containers, and corporate email services. * Build internal applications and tools for field and infrastructure technicians. * Participate in requirements gathering with users and clients. * Document solutions and provide support for developed deliverables. REQUIREMENTS Education * Graduate in Computer Science and Informatics, Systems Engineering, Software Engineering, Electronics, Mechatronics, or related fields. * Technical institute or university degree—either is acceptable. * We also highly value self-taught candidates with demonstrable portfolios. Technical Knowledge (assessed via practical test) * Python — intermediate level, used confidently. * SQL / PostgreSQL — table modeling, queries, JOINs. * Linux — command-line proficiency: permissions, processes, services, logs, SSH. * Networking — TCP/IP, ports, DNS (A, MX, TXT records), basic diagnostics. * REST APIs and JSON — consuming services with authentication. * Git — version control. * Ability to read technical documentation in English. Other * Clear communication in Spanish—verbal, written, and nonverbal. * Availability for occasional visits to workshops, client offices, and field locations. * Confidential handling of information. DESIRABLE (non-exclusive) * Familiarity with Odoo in any version—even at the course or user level. * Docker and containers. * HTML, CSS, JavaScript, or XML. * Prior experience in technical support or helpdesk (highly valued). * Hosting administration, cPanel, or mail server management. * Basic knowledge of cybersecurity, backups, or incident response. * Basic knowledge of instrumentation, metrology, or quality systems (ISO 9001 / ISO 17025\). * Valid driver's license. NOT REQUIRED * Years of professional experience. * Paid certifications. * Prior knowledge of Odoo, managed IT, or the oil & gas sector. * Conversational English.
