OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE COORDINATOR

Position Summary: Comprehensively coordinate and supervise bus fleet operations and maintenance for interprovincial services, ensuring continuity, availability, and safety. Key Highlights: 1. Opportunity for improvement and innovation within the organization. **Position Objective** To comprehensively coordinate, supervise, and control bus fleet operations and maintenance for interprovincial services, ensuring service continuity, vehicle availability, adherence to scheduled frequencies and timetables, operational safety, and proper execution of preventive and corrective maintenance. **Main Position Responsibilities** * Plan, supervise, and validate the daily scheduling of vehicles, drivers, routes, frequencies, and timetables. * Ensure operational continuity and vehicle availability to fulfill scheduled services. * Coordinate and supervise preventive and corrective maintenance of the bus fleet. * Monitor compliance with the maintenance schedule based on mileage, vehicle condition, and technical recommendations. * Conduct daily supervision of fleet status, identifying operational units, units under observation, units undergoing maintenance, or immobilized units. * Coordinate immediate response to mechanical failures and contingencies occurring during operations or on highways. * Track recurring failures and implement corrective actions to reduce their occurrence. * Supervise proper execution and closure of maintenance work orders. * Coordinate with Procurement and Logistics for timely supply of spare parts, lubricants, filters, tires, batteries, and other required fleet consumables. * Supervise and validate work performed by workshops and external suppliers. * Ensure no unit with an observation or critical failure is deployed for operations without corresponding technical validation. * Supervise completion of pre-operational checklists and timely reporting of failures by drivers. * Manage reserve units and contingency plans for failures, accidents, delays, or bus unavailability. * Supervise documentary control of vehicles: SOAT insurance, technical inspections, other insurance policies, permits, and authorizations. * Supervise performance and protocol compliance of operational and maintenance personnel. * Coordinate with HR regarding staffing needs, training, and appropriate measures for operational non-compliance. * Manage incidents, accidents, losses, and other contingencies affecting service continuity. * Prepare and present Operations and Maintenance reports and KPIs, such as fleet availability, preventive maintenance compliance, on-route failures, downtime durations, and maintenance costs. * Implement improvement initiatives aimed at increasing fleet availability, optimizing resources, reducing costs, and enhancing service quality. **Academic Qualifications** * University graduate or technical professional in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Transportation Engineering, Administration, Logistics, Automotive Mechanics, or related fields. * Specialization in Operations Management, Fleet Management, Automotive Maintenance, or Transportation — desirable. * Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance for heavy-duty vehicles. * Intermediate-level Excel proficiency. * Familiarity with Operations and Maintenance management indicators. **Experience** * Minimum **3 years of experience in coordination or supervision roles in Operations and/or Maintenance**. * Essential experience in companies engaged in **interprovincial passenger transport, employee transportation, tourism, or enterprises operating heavy-duty fleets**. * Experience managing fleet scheduling and availability. * Experience coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance. * Experience leading **drivers, mechanics, and operational staff**. * Experience handling and resolving operational contingencies and highway breakdowns. * Desirable familiarity with **Scania, Volvo, Mercedes-Benz, Yutong, Modasa, Marcopolo, Comil, or similar vehicles**. **We Offer** * Formal employment under Remype payroll with all statutory benefits. * Market-competitive remuneration aligned with experience. * Professional development opportunities and career progression paths. * Excellent working environment. * Work tools (mobile phone and laptop, per company policy). * Participation in organizational improvement and innovation projects.
