Job Summary: We are seeking a strategic-thinking, strong-leadership Operations Manager to oversee the supply chain and logistics operations, optimize processes, and ensure operational efficiency and profitability. Lead multidisciplinary teams in high-pressure environments We seek an **Operations Manager** with strategic vision, strong leadership, and exceptional management capability to lead our supply chain and logistics operations. You will be directly responsible for optimizing warehousing, transportation, distribution, and customer service processes, ensuring maximum operational efficiency and business profitability. Your primary focus will be on continuous improvement of management metrics (KPIs), budgetary control of the department, and leading multidisciplinary teams in operationally demanding environments. **Key Responsibilities** * **Logistics Chain Management:** Plan, supervise, and optimize national-level receiving, warehousing, inventory control, picking, packing, and dispatch processes. * **Transportation and Distribution Management:** Design and monitor distribution route strategies (last-mile and trunk-line), ensuring on-time delivery performance. * **Budget Control (P\&L):** Manage and optimize the department’s operational budget (OpEx), identifying opportunities to reduce logistics costs without compromising service quality. * **KPI and Reporting Management:** Define, monitor, and analyze key operational performance indicators to prepare management reports and action plans for Senior Management. * **Team Leadership and Development:** Lead and motivate operational and administrative staff under your supervision (team leads, supervisors, and warehouse/transport personnel), fostering a culture of safety and high productivity. * **Vendor and Contract Management:** Negotiate with and evaluate performance of strategic transportation vendors, third-party logistics providers, and logistics technology vendors. **Requirements** * **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, International Business, or related field. A Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or an MBA is desirable. * **Experience:** Minimum 3–5 years leading logistics operations departments, logistics management roles, or large-scale distribution centers (preferably in retail, fast-moving consumer goods, logistics providers, or e\-commerce). * **Technical Knowledge:** Proficiency and hands-on experience implementing Warehouse Management Systems (**WMS**) and Transportation Management Software (**TMS**). Advanced ERP system expertise (SAP MM/SD modules, Oracle, or similar). Solid knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (Lean Logistics, Six Sigma). * **Competencies:** Transformational leadership, strategic business vision, excellent negotiation skills, results orientation, and data-driven decision-making.
