Job Summary: A mining company seeks a Welder to perform welding, cutting, and repair work on structures and equipment in mining operations, in compliance with safety procedures. Key Highlights: 1. Knowledge of safe work procedures and hot work A mining-sector company is seeking a Welder for its VICUS Mining Unit. **Requirements:** * Proven experience as a welder in mining or industrial operations. * Knowledge of SMAW (shielded metal arc welding) and oxy-fuel cutting processes. * Experience in repairing and fabricating metal structures and mining equipment components. * Basic ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. * Knowledge of safe work procedures and hot work. * Availability to work under a 20 x 10 regime. **Responsibilities:** * Perform welding and cutting tasks according to maintenance requirements. * Repair components, metal structures, and equipment used in mining operations. * Conduct pre-use inspections of welding tools and equipment. * Maintain order and cleanliness in the work area. * Comply with the company’s established safety, occupational health, and environmental procedures. **Conditions:** * Work location: VICUS Mining Unit – Barranca, Lima. * Work schedule: 20 x 10 regime. * Position type: Full-time. * Compensation: To be negotiated based on experience and evaluation. Salary: S/.2,700.00 \- S/.3,000.00 per month Work location: On-site employment
