Job Summary: We are seeking a Welder for Mining Operations with experience in mining activities to perform welding and cutting tasks, repairing metal components and structures. Key Highlights: 1. Proven welding experience in mining and industrial operations. 2. Knowledge of SMAW (shielded metal arc welding) and oxy-fuel cutting processes. 3. Perform repairs and fabrication of metal structures and mining equipment. A mining-sector company is currently seeking a Welder for Mining Operations to work at the VICUS Mining Unit. Requirements: * Proven experience as a welder in mining or industrial operations. * Knowledge of SMAW (electric arc) and oxy-fuel cutting welding processes. * Experience in repairing and fabricating metal structures and mining equipment components. * Basic ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. * Familiarity with safe work procedures and hot work practices. * Availability to work under a 20 x 10 schedule. Responsibilities: * Perform welding and cutting tasks according to maintenance requirements. * Repair components, metal structures, and equipment used in mining operations. * Conduct pre-use inspections of welding tools and equipment. * Maintain order and cleanliness in the work area. * Comply with the company's established safety, occupational health, and environmental procedures. Conditions: * Work location: VICUS Mining Unit – Barranca, Lima. * Work schedule: 20 x 10. * Position type: Full-time. * Compensation: To be discussed based on experience and assessment. Salary: S/.1,800.00 – S/.2,000.00 per month Work location: On-site employment
