Come and be part of our global health movement! https://www.pih.org/ https://sociosensalud.org.pe/ **Position Title: Psychologist** **Vacancies (1\)** Mission: Appropriately implement activities related to the mental health component of Tuberculosis (TB) projects and the Mental Health Care Strategy for Transgender Women. Additionally, conduct follow-up and accompaniment of Community Health Agents (CHAs) who monitor beneficiaries with schizophrenia, in accordance with established activities and objectives. **Requirements:** * Licensed professional in Psychology, duly registered and authorized to practice. * Minimum one year of experience in community projects, mental health, primary care, or social programs. Preference given to experience with nonprofit organizations and fieldwork. * Experience in community mental health (desirable). * Knowledge of community psychosocial interventions. * Familiarity with current MINSA regulations related to mental health. * Data management skills and proficiency in Excel. * Availability to work in Northern and Central Lima. **Responsibilities:** · Provide guidance and psychoeducation on mental health, self-care, and treatment adherence to service users and/or their family members. · Identify psychosocial risk factors and mental health care needs during assessment and follow-up processes. · Deliver psychoeducation and mental health guidance tailored to participants’ specific needs and characteristics. · Timely identify psychosocial risk situations and specialized care needs, making appropriate referrals. · Participate in activities promoting emotional well-being, preventing mental health problems, and strengthening personal and social resources. · Conduct in-person accompaniment and supervision of Community Health Agents (CHAs) during home visits at the nine assigned Community Mental Health Centers (CMHCs). · Maintain continuous coordination with CMHC coordinators to facilitate follow-up and implementation of project-planned activities. · Perform other administrative and/or technical duties inherent to the position. **Conditions:** · Formal employment with statutory benefits. · Working hours: Monday to Friday \-(08:00 AM to 05:00 PM) · Work modality: 100% in-person. · Workplace: Availability to work in Northern and Central Lima.
