The Payments Operations Analyst will be responsible for safeguarding smooth business operations by anticipating and resolving incidents, collaborating with commercial, product, and compliance teams, and ensuring continuity and efficiency of daily operations. This role will be critical to ensuring operational efficiency, availability of inputs, generation of metrics, and support for data-driven decision-making with a focus on continuous improvement. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND EXPECTED OUTCOMES: 1\. Transaction Monitoring and Control: Verify that operations execute without errors across various touchpoints: * Payment capture (checkout, payment link, QR code, etc.). * Processing with banks, gateways, and partners. * Transaction approval or rejection. * Commission reflection in systems. * Timely and accurate fund disbursement to merchants, balance generation. * Merchant receipt of payment (settlement). 2\. Commercial Team Operational Support: * Facilitate onboarding of new merchants. * Ensure business requirements are accurately translated into technical deliverables. * Prepare performance reports and key metrics. 3\. Customer Wallet Balance Management and Control: * Supervise and control available and held balances in customer accounts, ensuring accurate reflection of transactions (inflows, outflows, commissions, holds, adjustments). * Monitor fund movements to ensure integrity and consistency of data against accounting and transactional systems. * Implement alert and control mechanisms to detect deviations, errors, or inconsistent balances, managing their analysis and timely resolution. * Collaborate closely with technology, product, and customer support teams to ensure correct configuration of business rules affecting balances (fees, freezes, reversals, etc.). 8\. Merchant Support / Internal Support: * Provide support to merchants regarding unrecognized transactions, non-received payments, or disbursement errors. * Collaborate with customer support, product, technology, and commercial teams. **Requirements** Academic Qualifications: * Professional degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or related field (Preferred). Relevant Work Experience: * Minimum 4 years of professional experience, including at least 2 years in payment operations, fintech, banking, or payment methods. * Experience in B2B payments and engagement with banks, gateways, and local partners. * Preferred experience in product launches or market expansion.
