We are not merely looking for someone to “assist.” We seek someone who **learns, contributes, exercises sound judgment, and wishes to grow technically alongside the company.** **WHAT WILL YOU DO?** You will participate in various stages of our manufacturing processes, supporting the Production team in activities such as: * Preparation and conditioning of parts. * Use of **angle grinders and column drills**. * Drilling, machining, and preparation of parts. * Support in operations involving **lathes, planers, and other machine tools**. * Measurement and verification of parts using **Vernier calipers and other measuring instruments**. * Preparation of parts for welding, painting, and assembly. * Support in painting and surface preparation. * Transport and organization of materials, parts, and tools. * Organization and cleanliness of the production area. * Support in various activities required to meet production schedules. * Timely reporting of errors, deviations, or unsafe conditions. **WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?** **Technical Training:** * Production Mechanics. * Machine Tools. * Industrial Mechanics. * Maintenance Mechanics. * Or related technical fields. **Experience:** * Minimum **1 year of practical experience** in production, metalworking, manufacturing, industrial maintenance, or similar activities. * Experience using **angle grinders and column drills**. * Desired experience with conventional lathes, planers, and other machine tools. * Desired experience in preparing parts for welding, painting, and assembly. **THE CANDIDATE WE SEEK** We seek a person who: * Demonstrates **initiative**, capable of acting independently without constant supervision. * Exercises **sound judgment**, knowing when to act and when to consult. * Performs known tasks with **autonomy**. * Is responsible, punctual, and disciplined. * Learns quickly and shows interest in technical development. * Takes care of machinery, tools, materials, and equipment. * Works in an organized, clean, and safe manner. * Is willing to support the team and take on new challenges. * Has **verifiable employment references**. **We want to meet you!** **CONDITIONS** **Position:** Production Mechanical Assistant **Department:** Production **Direct Supervisor:** Plant Supervisor **Working Hours:** Monday to Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Saturday: 8:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. **Work Location:** JSC Equipos Mineros S.A.
