Strategically advise VIP customers At IVCISA, we are looking for a **Solutions Architect for our Support team**, with at least 3 years of experience in designing, diagnosing, and optimizing cloud solutions, with an absolute focus on AWS. The ideal candidate will not only possess deep, hands-on knowledge of cloud architecture, security, scalability, and cost optimization, but will also have exceptional communication skills to **serve and guide the company's most exclusive and critical customers**. They will serve as the trusted technical advisor to resolve complex incidents, ensure business continuity, and propose continuous improvements to customers' existing architectures. ### **Mandatory:** * Hold a current AWS Professional or Specialty certification **Responsibilities** --------------------- * **Architectural Support and Advanced Diagnostics:** Analyze and resolve complex architectural issues in AWS environments of our exclusive customers, ensuring high availability and optimal performance. * **Strategic Advisory for VIP Customers:** Act as the primary technical point of contact for stakeholders of the most important accounts, translating technical incidents into business impact—and vice versa. * **Continuous Optimization and Cost Management (FinOps):** Periodically evaluate architectures of exclusive customers to propose improvements in security, scalability, and—fundamentally—AWS cost-optimization strategies. * **Critical Incident and DR Management:** Technically lead responses to catastrophic failures, executing and validating Disaster Recovery (DR) plans, backup schemes, and high-availability configurations. * **Network and Security Auditing:** Ensure customer environments comply with AWS security best practices (Well-Architected Framework), managing IAM policies, VPCs, firewalls, and centralized logging. * **Operations Improvement (IaC and CI/CD):** Support customers in stabilizing their deployment workflows and infrastructure management using CloudFormation and CI/CD pipelines to prevent operational errors. * **Stabilization and Modernization:** Guide customers through transitioning and stabilizing their applications into modern containerized environments (ECS, EKS, Fargate) when support for traditional architectures becomes inefficient. **Requirements** -------------- * **Experience:** Minimum 3 years as a Solutions Architect or Level 3 (L3) Cloud Support Engineer, supporting critical AWS infrastructures. * **Customer Orientation:** Proven experience working directly with corporate clients or Enterprise accounts under demanding Service Level Agreements (SLAs). * **Core Knowledge:** Solid understanding of the *AWS Well-Architected Framework*, advanced networking, cloud security, agile methodologies, and Git. * **Specific AWS Services:** Advanced experience with compute, storage, database, and networking services (EC2, S3, RDS, VPC, ELB, Route 53, IAM). * **Monitoring and Observability:** Practical experience implementing and analyzing centralized logging and monitoring solutions (CloudWatch, CloudTrail, or third-party tools such as Datadog/New Relic) to detect anomalies before customers do. * **Containerization:** Experience diagnosing failures and providing support for Docker-based environments and AWS orchestrators (ECS, EKS, Fargate). * **Infrastructure as Code (IaC):** Ability to read, correct, and optimize CloudFormation templates. * **Support Documentation:** Ability to create technical playbooks, root cause analysis (RCA) reports following high-impact incidents, and clear architecture diagrams for customers.
