We offer numerous opportunities and challenges that will take both us and your career to the next level. Our **VAS** team is seeking a **Mechanical Technician L2** to join **Inchcape Peru**. The purpose of this role is to deliver specialized technical service, address critical cases requiring more complex evaluation, comply with warranty and recall procedures, and ensure service quality for vehicles serviced in the workshop. **Your Responsibilities** * Perform preventive maintenance on vehicles according to the brand's technical manual, standard timeframes, and Level 1 corrective repairs—including brake systems, suspension, transmissions, and cooling systems. * Inspect vehicles to accurately and promptly convey technical information to the Supervisor and/or Advisor. Use the brand-specific scanner. * Upload inspection evidence—including photos and videos as applicable—to technological tools (Clear Mechanic) for all technical recommendations, ensuring technical accuracy and precision. * Report any abnormalities or observations identified during maintenance service to the relevant personnel via the maintenance report, enabling appropriate follow-up actions. * Conduct inspections per the established maintenance package guidelines, identifying issues and proposing improvement plans to resolve them and prevent vehicle re-entry. * Keep warranty personnel informed—using established formats—about warranty and recall management, whether through the automotive channel and/or gas channel. * Maintain assigned workspace, tools, and equipment in good condition to ensure durability and availability for other colleagues. * Achieve 100% productivity and meet all other performance indicators assigned by your immediate supervisor. * Actively participate in the Occupational Health and Safety program, in accordance with company policies, as well as in continuous improvement initiatives within the workshop to foster a safe working environment. * Ensure service quality for all vehicles serviced in the workshop. * Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, and ICS controls. **About You** To succeed in this role, you must have: * Completed technical education in automotive mechanics, electricity, electronics, or mechatronics. * 3–5 years of experience in similar roles within the automotive sector. * Proficiency in Office (Excel) – Basic level. * Proficiency in English – Basic level. * Driver’s license – A1\. **Start Your Journey** Join our team and become part of a world-leading automotive company that is **transforming tomorrow, together.** We are committed to developing internal talent; therefore, if you are interested in this position but do not meet all requirements, we encourage you to apply.
