Controls costs associated with imports. **JOB PROFILE: IMPORT ASSISTANT AND ADMINISTRATIVE STAFF** * **Contract for Business Start-up or Activity Expansion** **Availability to Work in San Isidro** A construction and mining sector company specializing in the sale and repair of surveying equipment is seeking an Import Assistant and Administrative Staff member with the following profile: **Job Objective** To efficiently manage and coordinate import processes, ensuring compliance with deadlines, budgets, and current regulations, thereby contributing to the company’s optimal supply chain operation and providing administrative support. **Main Responsibilities** * Import Coordination: Manage and track imports from purchase order issuance through goods receipt at the warehouse, including coordination with international suppliers, freight forwarders, and customs authorities. * Customs Documentation: Prepare and verify all required import documentation, such as commercial invoices, bills of lading, and certificates of origin. * Cost Management: Develop and control import-related costs, including freight, insurance, tariffs, and other associated expenses. * Inventory Management and recording of imports in the system. * Coordinate local procurement activities in collaboration with the sales department. * Manage facility defects and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance services. * Provide administrative support for tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor. * Accounting document management and control. **Requirements** * Academic Qualification: Bachelor’s degree or graduate in International Trade, International Business, Industrial Engineering, Administration, or related fields. * Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in similar positions. **Technical Knowledge:** · Proficiency in customs documentation and import procedures. · Knowledge of customs regulations and international trade rules. · ERP system proficiency. · Intermediate-level Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables). **Languages:** Basic English **Working Hours:** · Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:15 PM Employment Type: Full-time Salary: S/.2,000.00 \- S/.2,200.00 per month Work Location: On-site employment
