Job Summary: We are seeking an EDM Machine Operator to operate wire-cut and sinker EDM equipment, perform setup, interpret engineering drawings, and conduct dimensional quality control in a precision machining workshop. Experience operating wire-cut and/or sinker EDM machines. **A metal-mechanical sector company** is seeking top talent to fill the position of **EDM Machine Operator (Wire-Cut / Sinker EDM)** for its precision machining and component manufacturing workshop. **Main Responsibilities** * Operate wire-cut EDM (Wire EDM) and/or sinker EDM (Sinker EDM) machines. * Perform setup, alignment, part centering, and wire threading according to drawing requirements. * Interpret mechanical drawings, geometric and dimensional tolerances (GD&T). * Adjust cutting parameters (voltage, current, wire tension, feed rate, dielectric pressure) to optimize surface finish and cycle time. * Conduct dimensional quality control of machined parts using precision measuring instruments (micrometer, height gauge, dial comparator, profile projector). * Perform basic autonomous and preventive maintenance on equipment (guide cleaning, deionizing resin replacement, filter and dielectric fluid changes). **Requirements** * **Education:** Technician graduate or certified in Precision Machining, Machine Tools, Toolmaking, or related fields (e.g., Senati, Tecsup, or similar institutes). * **Experience:** Minimum 2 years operating wire-cut and/or sinker EDM machines in precision machining or toolmaking workshops. * **Technical Knowledge:** * Advanced reading and interpretation of mechanical drawings. * Proficiency with high-precision measuring instruments. * Familiarity with manual machine-side programming or CAM program transfer (desirable). * Availability to work rotating shifts or full-time in a workshop setting. **Benefits** * Direct payroll employment with all statutory benefits. * Market-competitive remuneration based on technical evaluation and experience. * Positive work environment and stability within a continuously growing company. * Opportunity for professional development in high-precision projects.
