Job Summary: We are seeking a proactive and dynamic Retail Construction Supervisor to lead the operational execution of commercial construction and renovation projects, ensuring timelines, quality, and safety. Field management and contractor oversight At **VMIC**, a leading company in comprehensive execution and management of commercial construction and renovation projects, we are looking for a proactive, dynamic, and results-oriented **Retail Construction Supervisor 1** to join our project team. If you have experience in high-turnover construction works, contractor supervision, and passion for field management, this opportunity is for you! **What will be your purpose?** Lead the operational execution of assigned projects (retail stores, renovations, and fit-outs), ensuring adherence to schedules, quality, and budgets, while maintaining safety standards and excellent communication with our clients. **Key Responsibilities:** * **Field and Quality Management:** Supervise the proper execution of work items on site, implement frontline quality controls, and verify compliance with technical specifications. * **Occupational Safety and Health (OSH):** Implement OSH measures on site (5-minute daily safety talks, safety checklists, correct use of PPE by both internal staff and contractors). * **Control and Monitoring:** Monitor and report project progress daily, entering updates and photographic evidence into the company's ERP system. * **Contractor Management:** Schedule, supervise, and validate subcontractor work, ensuring appropriate use of materials and construction procedures. * **Logistics Control:** Manage on-site inventory, receive materials/equipment, and plan timely replenishments to avoid cost overruns or delays. **Requirements:** * **Education:** Bachelor’s degree or Technical Diploma in Civil Engineering or Architecture. * **Experience:** 1–2 years of experience executing construction projects as an assistant or resident engineer, preferably in the *retail* sector or *Fast-Track* projects. * **Technical Knowledge:** * Advanced ability to read and interpret construction drawings. * Proficiency in AutoCAD (Intermediate level) and Spreadsheets / Excel (Advanced level). * Prior experience in budget control (S10\) and planning software (MS Project / ERPs) is desirable. * **Competencies:** Strong planning capability, operational resilience, effective communication, and ability to work under pressure. **What do we offer?** * Formal employment from day one under the MYPE regime * Working hours: **Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., and Saturdays, 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.** * Productivity and semi-annual objective achievement bonus * Anniversary bonus * Training and Development Program with specialized courses and tools * Excellent work environment and clear career path **Ready to apply?** If you meet the profile and want to be part of high-impact, challenging projects, **apply now and join VMIC!** Salary: Starting at S/.2,300\.00 per month Application Question(s): * Do you hold a Bachelor’s degree or Technical/Professional title in Civil Engineering or Architecture? * How many years of field experience do you have executing or supervising commercial/retail renovation, implementation, or fit-out projects?
