Position Summary: We are seeking a Design Assistant for a leading textile company, responsible for trend research, developing women's fashion designs, creating collections and technical specifications, and coordinating with production teams. Collection development and technical specifications A prominent and leading textile company is looking for top talent to join as a DESIGN ASSISTANT. REQUIREMENTS: \- Technical or university degree in fashion design or related field. \- Minimum 1 year of experience in women's fashion design. \- Availability to work in SJL FUNCTIONS: \- Research and present seasonal fashion trends based on brands. \- Knowledge of garment construction. \- Propose, develop, and execute designs and/or products reflecting our customers' and brands' style. \- Develop collections and present them to: Product Manager and Category Manager / Board. \- Prepare technical specifications for approved designs. \- Propose new fabric and color alternatives for each garment in the collections. \- Prepare and present seasonal lookbooks, including collection panels, color cards, collages, and outfit proposals. \- Present trims to be used in garments. \- Coordinate with sample makers and pattern makers on finishes and molds for initial samples. \- Monitor processes, etc. PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS: \- Ability to understand designers' instructions. \- Ability to work under tight deadlines. \- Strong communication skills and capacity. \- Teamwork orientation. \- Proactive attitude.
