At CULTINOR, a growing Peruvian mining company, we are seeking top talent to take on the challenge of becoming a Mining Sector Specialist Lawyer. **Job Mission** Provide comprehensive legal advisory and support to the organization, ensuring compliance with applicable regulatory frameworks, proper contractual management, and correct handling of the company’s legal proceedings. Additionally, contribute to the prevention and mitigation of legal risks, safeguarding corporate interests and ensuring operational continuity and sustainability—particularly in the mining and property management domains. **Key Responsibilities** * Analyze, manage, and monitor legal proceedings assigned to the department. * Provide legal advisory services to various organizational departments in accordance with current regulations. * Prepare legal reports, legal opinions, and regulatory documents required by internal departments. * Draft, review, and manage civil, commercial, and mining contracts. * Draft and review notarial letters, agreements, corporate minutes, addenda, and other legal documents. * Coordinate and monitor notarial, registry, and administrative procedures before public and private entities. * Manage registry documents such as powers of attorney validity certificates, literal copies, liens, and certifications. * Maintain up-to-date corporate and legal documentation of the company. * Prepare technical\-legal reports and documents related to the company’s property management. * Monitor judicial proceedings related to better title claims, nullity of legal acts, reclamation, interdicts, usurpation, and evictions. * Support the preparation and monitoring of mining petitions and procedures linked to mining activities. * Support compliance with mining obligations before entities such as INGEMMET, the Ministry of Energy and Mines, SUNAT, and the Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF). * Provide support in processing and obtaining authorizations, permits, and licenses for company operations. * Coordinate and supervise the work of external law firms, notaries, and other legal service providers. * Identify legal and regulatory risks and propose preventive measures. * Perform other related or complementary activities assigned by the immediate supervisor. **Required Profile** * Licensed, registered, and authorized lawyer with a Diploma or specialization in Mining Law or Environmental Law. * Minimum of 3 years’ experience in similar positions, preferably within mining or extractive sector companies. * Knowledge of Mining Law, Environmental Law, Civil Property Law, and Registry and Notarial Law. * Experience in managing civil, commercial, and mining contracts. * Experience in administrative and registry procedures before public entities. * Intermediate-level proficiency in Microsoft Office. **Key Competencies** * Analytical ability and critical thinking * Excellent legal writing skills * Proactivity and organizational skills * Ability to handle pressure and stress tolerance * Negotiation and conflict resolution skills * Effective communication, professional ethics, and integrity **What We Offer** * Involvement in a growing mining company. * Key role in the organization’s legal management and risk prevention. * Professional development in a dynamic and challenging environment. * Work schedule: Monday to Friday – San Isidro, Lima.
