Key Responsibilities:
1. Manages the international supply chain and customs clearance.
2. Supervises import costs and regulatory compliance.
3. Researches and develops international suppliers.
Our client, a company specializing in the import of high-end medical equipment, is seeking an **Import Manager**:
**Responsibilities:**
* Coordinate with international suppliers and freight forwarders.
* **Track international purchase orders.**
* Manage import documentation: invoices, bills of lading (BL), packing lists, certificates of origin, etc.
* **Coordinate with customs brokers and authorities for cargo clearance.**
* Verify compliance with customs and sanitary regulations.
* **Supervise import-related costs (freight, insurance, tariffs, etc.).**
* Maintain up-to-date system records for arrival, release, and delivery dates.
* Coordinate with the warehouse for receipt of imported goods.
* Prepare import reports and forecasts.
* Basic knowledge of an ERP system (not mandatory)
* Manage payments to foreign and domestic suppliers.
* Research and develop international suppliers using commercial intelligence tools and market analysis.
**Requirements:**
* **2 years of experience in similar positions.**
* Graduate in International Business Administration, International Trade, or related fields.
* Advanced English proficiency.
**Working Conditions:**
* PEN 2000\-2100, depending on evaluation.
* On-site work at the Miraflores office, Monday to Friday, 7 AM to 5 PM.
