Job Summary: We are seeking a Junior WWTP Design Engineer for SPENA to strengthen its technical team in the field of Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) Engineering and Design, providing technical support. Key Highlights: 1. Technical support for engineering calculation and design of WWTPs 2. Development of pre-designs, technical and economic proposals 3. Participation in plant monitoring and commissioning At **Scouter**, we are looking for a **Junior WWTP Design Engineer** for our client **SPENA**, an engineering solutions company, aiming to strengthen its technical team in the area of **Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) Engineering and Design**. **Mission:** ----------- Provide technical support in engineering calculation, design, and process control, developing pre-designs and technical and economic proposals under the supervision of the Senior Engineer and Engineering Manager. **Main Responsibilities:** -------------------------- * Perform calculations, preliminary sizing, and re-sizing of treatment units. * Collect, analyze, and process historical data for technical analysis. * Prepare block diagrams and material balances. * Assist in basic and detailed engineering development. * Request quotations and follow up with equipment and instrumentation suppliers. * Prepare WWTP budgets in coordination with the commercial department. * Prepare technical proposals, presentations, and technical datasheets for treatment plants. * Participate in monitoring, field testing, parameter measurement, and operational adjustments. * Provide technical support for field services and plant commissioning. **Requirements:** --------------- **Academic Background:** * Bachelor's degree or graduate in: * Sanitary Engineering * Chemical Engineering * Environmental Engineering **Experience:** * Minimum 6–12 months of experience in engineering and/or operation roles at treatment plants. **Technical Knowledge:** * Preparation of technical reports and quotations. * Basic knowledge of wastewater treatment processes (activated sludge – essential). * Sizing and selection of pumps and blowers (desirable). **Tools:** * Microsoft Office – intermediate level. * AutoCAD – basic level. * MS Project – intermediate level. **Working Conditions:** -------------------------- * **Salary Range:** S/ 2,200 – S/ 2,500 * **Work Modality:** On-site * **Schedule:** Full-time * General regime payroll (all statutory benefits) If you are interested in professional growth in the field of design and engineering, this is your opportunity to grow with **SPENA**.
