




At *URBAN arquitectos*, we continue growing and want to welcome a *Logistics Manager* to our team. **Position Objective:** Ensure the efficient flow of materials, equipment, and services to various construction sites. Responsible for the entire supply chain—from supplier negotiations through on-site delivery—guaranteeing cost optimization via rigorous price comparisons and monitoring of valuations for subcontracted services. **Requirements:** * Education: Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Economics, or related fields. * Specialization: Certification in Supply Chain Management or Procurement is desirable. * Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in the construction sector (essential familiarity with construction materials and site dynamics). * Software: Proficiency in ERPs (e.g., S10 Logistics Module, SAP, StarSoft, or similar) and advanced Excel. **Specific Responsibilities:** * Quotation Management: Request and analyze budgets for materials (steel, cement, aggregates, finishes) and services, securing optimal commercial terms. * Comparative Analysis Tables: Prepare detailed technical and economic analyses for management review, evaluating not only price but also delivery timelines, quality, and payment terms. * Valuation Control: Review and validate service provider and subcontractor valuations (e.g., machinery rental, external labor), ensuring alignment with actual site progress. * Supplier Qualification: Maintain a database of reliable suppliers and periodically assess their performance. * Warehouse Management: Supervise on-site inventory to prevent losses, theft, or overstocking. * Dispatch Logistics: Coordinate transportation and unloading of materials, considering each project’s access restrictions. **Key Technical Competencies:** * Must master construction-site terminology to avoid being misled by suppliers or contractors. * Knowledge of construction materials: Ability to distinguish technical specifications (e.g., concrete types, steel grades, admixtures). * Unit Price Analysis (APU): Ability to understand how procurement decisions impact the budget for corresponding work items. * Negotiation Skills: Capacity to secure volume agreements and credit lines with major suppliers. **Work Location** * Willingness to work 80% on-site and 20% at the office located in Miraflores.
