Sewing Operator / Straight-Stitch Machine Operator

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Straight-Stitch Machine Operator in textile manufacturing to perform complete seam operations and ensure compliance with safety standards. Opportunity for learning and career growth with a defined career path. **FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Perform full straight-stitch sewing on fabric according to the assigned production model. * Collaborate closely with the preparation (cutting and marking) team. * Monitor and control the quantity of components per product delivered by the preparation staff. * Request materials and supplies in advance from the area supervisor. * Ensure the integrity of all equipment and tools, as well as their efficient distribution as provided by the company. * Carry out other tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor. * Comply with the company's established safety regulations. * Comply with regulations, policies, and procedures set forth by General Management and the organization within the scope of responsibilities. **JOB REQUIREMENTS:** * Male or female. * Experience in garment manufacturing, including jeans, upholstery, awnings, and/or backpacks; experience with heavy knit fabrics. * Proficiency in operating heavy-duty straight-stitch sewing machines. * Demonstrated skill and precision in straight-stitching textile components using various methods. * Minimum of six months’ relevant experience. * Must reside in Villa El Salvador or nearby areas. **BENEFITS:** * Salary: S/ 1,300 * Social benefits for small and medium-sized enterprises (MYPE). * Opportunity for learning and career growth. * Defined career path.
