Position Summary: We are seeking a Communication for Development Specialist to assess social impact, strengthen communication, and enhance stakeholder engagement in mining areas. Key Responsibilities: 1. Social impact assessment and communication in mining areas 2. Design and application of participatory tools 3. Development of recommendations to strengthen community communication We are looking for a **Communication for Development Specialist** to join a strategic project focused on social impact assessment and strengthening communication processes in mining-affected areas. **Work Modality:** * **Schedule:** Monday to Friday. * **Mode:** On-site * **Availability for travel and activities in mining areas** **Responsibilities:** * Assess the effectiveness of communication media, channels, and strategies implemented in communities and stakeholder groups. * Analyze levels of awareness, understanding, and perception of communication messages. * Design and apply participatory tools for focus groups, interviews, and community consultation spaces. * Develop stakeholder maps, audience analyses, and communication diagnostics. * Develop recommendations to strengthen community communication and stakeholder engagement. * Participate in the collection and analysis of qualitative and quantitative information related to social communication processes. * Prepare technical reports and executive summaries with findings, conclusions, and improvement proposals. * Coordinate with the multidisciplinary team on the implementation of participatory methodologies and consultation processes. **Requirements:** **Academic Qualifications:** * Degree holder in: * Communication Sciences. * Communication for Development. * Related disciplines. **Professional Experience:** * Minimum of **four (04) years** of experience in: * Evaluation of communication strategies. * Community communication. * Community media. * Social development projects. * Programs related to sustainability or community engagement. **Benefits:** * Formal employment registration. * Statutory benefits.
