Job Summary: We are seeking a Geologist for mine operations, with experience in exploration, geological control, and mining operations, to plan and supervise exploration, mapping, and sampling activities. Key Highlights: 1. Key role in exploration, geological mapping, and sampling operations. 2. Responsible for geological modeling and resource estimation. 3. Design and supervision of diamond drilling campaigns. We are Mineral Perú, a Peruvian company dedicated to the mining sector, machinery sales, cargo transportation, and mineral marketing. We are seeking a Geologist to join our mine operations department, with experience and expertise focused on exploration, geological control, and mining operations. **Requirements:** * Degree in **Geology, with active professional registration**. * Knowledge of mining exploration and operations. * Handling of geological information, sampling, and grade control. * Knowledge of geological modeling and resource estimation. * Proficiency with surveying equipment and specialized geology-related software. * Commitment to Occupational Health and Safety standards and mining safety regulations. * Driver's license AII \- AI. * Knowledge of geology software. **Main Responsibilities:** * Plan, lead, and supervise **exploration, geological mapping, and sampling** activities at operational faces. * Perform **geological modeling, resource estimation, and grade control**. * Design and supervise **diamond drilling** campaigns or other exploration methods. * Manage proper logging and storage of drill core samples and **core logs**. * Coordinate with Engineering, Planning, and Mining Operations departments for updating plans, sections, and 3D models. * Prepare technical reports on **ore volume estimation, mineral reserves, exploration progress, and grade reconciliation**. * Identify and promptly report deviations from the anticipated geological model. * Comply with operational procedures, mining safety standards, and mandatory use of PPE. * Participate in inductions, trainings, and scheduled safety talks organized by the company. **General Considerations:** * Atypical work schedule: 20 days on / 10 days off. * Willingness to travel. * Benefits under MYPE payroll scheme. * Employment type: On-site.
