Job Summary:
We are seeking a Mining Engineer to deliver practical knowledge of AI (Machine Learning, computer vision, and Generative AI) for optimizing mining processes.

**Objective:** Equip mining engineering professionals and students with practical Artificial Intelligence tools (Machine Learning, computer vision, and Generative AI) to optimize drilling, blasting, fleet management, geomechanics, and mine planning processes.
**Requirements:**
* **Qualification:** Mining Engineer, registered and licensed (a Master’s degree or specialization in Data Science/AI is desirable).
* **Experience:** Minimum of 3 years in mining operations or consulting, applying technological tools, data analytics, or Artificial Intelligence.
* **Software to be used:** Proficiency with open-source tools (*Python, Google Colab, Orange Data Mining, QGIS*) or possession of a commercial license (e.g., *Datamine, Deswik, Whittle, Vulcan*) for practical demonstrations.
* **Skills:** Pedagogical ability to explain complex AI concepts simply and with a focus on solving real-world field problems.
* **Equipment:** A high-performance computer, a high-quality microphone, and a quiet environment for screen recordings and live sessions.
**Proposed Course Structure (10 Hours):**
* **Module 1 (2h):** Fundamentals of Data Science and AI in Mining (*Python / Google Colab / Orange*).
* **Module 2 (2h):** AI in Drilling and Blasting: Fragmentation and vibration prediction.
* **Module 3 (2h):** Predictive Analytics for Machinery Maintenance and Fleet Control.
* **Module 4 (2h):** Optimization of Mine Planning and Predictive Geometallurgy.
* **Module 5 (2h):** Generative AI and Specialized Prompts for Technical Reports and PETS/PETAR.
