Field surveys and system design A leading national company in mining and infrastructure projects is seeking a Junior Mechanical Engineer for basic and detailed engineering development. **Location: Moquegua, Peru** **Mandatory (Must reside in Peru)** **Requirements:** **Education:** Mechanical Engineering Willingness to relocate to Moquegua - Peru Mandatory 2–3 years of experience in: * Experience using design software: AutoCAD * Experience using design software: Inventor * Experience using design software: Revit * Experience in basic and detailed engineering (preparation of general, specific, equipment, and documentation layouts) * Knowledge of technology involved in mining, crushing, storage, and material handling processes. * Experience in field surveys, sketching, and gathering necessary information for engineering execution. * Solid knowledge of standards, laws, and regulations applicable to industrial and mining plant design. **Responsibilities:** * Knowledge of standards and regulations for industrial and mining plant design. * Perform calculations and design mechanical systems. * Review and conduct cross-checks of drawings and technical documents. * Review supplier quotations and drawings. * Conduct field surveys and site visits to collect data on mechanical installations. * Quantify materials and construction items to estimate costs.
