Position Summary:
We are seeking a Logistics and Procurement Analyst to ensure cost efficiency, transparency, and compliance with procedures, coordinating quotations and rigorously tracking deliveries with suppliers.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Drive process automation and optimize ERP integration.
2. Prepare technical reports and bilingual presentations for Management.
3. Serve as a key liaison among Management, Administration, and Finance.
At Minera Toro de Plata, we are currently seeking a Logistics and Procurement Analyst.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Ensure cost efficiency, transparency with third parties, and strict adherence to corporate procedures.
· Develop and update control dashboards for tracking purchase orders (PO), service orders (SO), contracts, and the status of the Logistics and Procurement department.
· Prepare budgets and conduct variance analysis by area or project.
· Drive process automation and optimize integration between the ERP system and other management tools.
· Prepare technical reports and bilingual presentations (Spanish/English) for General Management and VP of Operations (as requested).
· Coordinate quotations, issue purchase orders, and rigorously track deliveries with suppliers.
· Monitor payments, disbursements, and service valuations in coordination with General Administration \- Mine Administration.
· Evaluate supplier performance, support internal processes, and assist during audits by verifying documentary compliance (waybills, invoices, insurance).
· Act as a liaison between Management and Administration, Finance, Legal, and the Mine Team to ensure internal control.
· Ensure safety in activities under one's responsibility and provide comprehensive support to requirements from General Management and Legal.
· Maintain open communication with General Administration, General Management, and Legal.
· Perform other responsibilities or tasks assigned by General Management, General Administration, or Legal Department.
REQUIREMENTS:
\* Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Logistics, or related fields.
\* Minimum 5 years of experience in Logistics and Procurement.
\* Minimum 3 years of experience in mining-sector companies.
\* Advanced Excel skills for creating control dashboards.
\* Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Odoo) (Preferred).
\* Knowledge of SCM and logistics concepts.
\* Intermediate/advanced English proficiency (ability to prepare reports and presentations when required by General Management or General Administration).
\* Willingness to undertake occasional travel to the mine site (located in Huancavelica).
