WE ARE HIRING: MECHANIC II\-RIGGER POSITION: MECHANIC II\-RIGGER Position Objective Perform mechanical maintenance and load lifting operations safely, efficiently, and in accordance with established procedures, ensuring the integrity of personnel, equipment, and materials. Main Responsibilities * Perform preventive and corrective mechanical maintenance on equipment and facilities. * Execute lifting operations using slings, shackles, chains, spreader beams, and other certified accessories. * Inspect lifting equipment and accessories before each use, verifying their condition and validity. * Select appropriate lifting elements based on load weight, dimensions, and center of gravity. * Guide and ensure proper load movement in coordination with the crane operator and supervisor. * Interpret lifting plans, procedures, and risk analyses. * Comply with Safety, Health, and Environmental Management (SSOMA) standards. * Maintain order and cleanliness in the work area. * Report unsafe conditions, incidents, and deviations identified during work execution. * Participate in safety meetings, training sessions, and drills. * Prepare and complete required records and inspections for assigned activities. * Support other mechanical maintenance activities as required. * Responsibilities * Adhere to safe work procedures and work permits. * Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools and equipment. * Verify that lifting accessories bear identification and working load limit (WLL) markings. * Halt any operation posing a risk to personnel, equipment, or facilities. * Comply with internal quality, safety, and environmental policies.
