Our approach combines technical expertise, innovation, quality, and specialized support—from client requirement assessment through equipment installation and commissioning. **www.cigei.com** Job Description We are currently looking for a **Mechanical and Electrical Engineer** to join the CIGEI SAC team and participate in projects related to the **assembly, installation, and commissioning of filter presses and associated equipment**. The professional will provide technical support throughout various project phases, participating in installation, inspection, diagnostics, and operational startup of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic equipment. Key responsibilities include interpreting **mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and installation diagrams**, coordinating field work, verifying proper equipment operation, and providing technical support during assembly and commissioning activities. Additionally, the candidate must collaborate closely with CIGEI’s technical team and our clients’ representatives, ensuring installations comply with technical requirements, quality standards, and established safety conditions. Requirements * Professional degree in **Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields**. * Proven experience in **assembly, installation, and commissioning of filter presses**. * Knowledge of **hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems**. * Ability to interpret **mechanical drawings, electrical drawings, and installation diagrams**. * Experience in installation, inspection, diagnostics, and testing of industrial equipment. * Ability to identify and resolve technical issues during assembly and commissioning. * Availability to work in **Lima** and undertake **project-related travel as required**. * Capacity to work on-site and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams. * Commitment to safety, quality, and adherence to project technical requirements. * Prior experience in **industrial plants, mining operations, or water treatment plants** will be valued.
