Position Summary: Advise various departments on compliance with legal regulations, company policies, and commitments, ensuring operational continuity while maintaining quality and confidentiality standards. Key Highlights: 1. Legal support during governmental and private inspections. 2. Advisory on specific legal matters (safety, labor, notarial). 3. Coordination of review and monitoring of legal requirements in OSH. **POSITION MISSION:** Advise various departments of the mining unit to ensure compliance with legal regulations, policies, and company commitments, as well as operational continuity, while maintaining quality, reliability, and confidentiality standards for information under its responsibility. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Provide support to the community relations team in drafting contracts, agreements, and other required documents. * Provide legal support during governmental inspection processes at the mining unit (police, administrative, OEFA, OSINERGMIN, SUNAFIL, judicial) and private inspections (notarial). * Coordinate the review and monitoring of legal requirements in OSH, validating evidence and generating required reports via the George platform. * Pay municipal and transfer taxes (Alcabala) for company properties. * Participate in Sigsso Coordinators’ meetings. * Advise on legal aspects within its area of expertise (safety, occupational health, labor, notarial, judicial, administrative), responding to specific queries from various user departments. Toromocho Mining Unit has been the first world-class copper mine fully executed and developed from inception overseas by a Chinese company. It is located in the Morococha District, Yauli Province, Junín Department, at an altitude of over 4,500 meters above sea level. It operates a concentrator plant processing approximately 117,200 tons of ore per day. Today, Chinalco Perú is one of the most important companies within China Copper and the largest wholly foreign-owned subsidiary of CHINALCO.
