This is how we develop mining—always attuned to change, powered by committed, inspired, and continuously developing people. **Join Nexa and be part of the mining industry that moves with the world!** **\#WomenTalentedInMining \#MiningInternships** **Responsibilities and Duties** * Participate in managing SSMA performance indicators (e.g., accidents, incidents, inspections, ORT, etc.). * Participate in managerial inspections, plant visits, ORT, drills, safety culture meetings, health and safety campaigns, and other awareness-raising activities. * Provide support for the database and tracking of “Easy Speak” reports, notifications, etc. * Contribute to consolidating evidence for the SSMA management system. * Support verification and follow-up of operational controls established in SSMA management tools. * Identify improvement opportunities in safety-related applications (apps). * Assist in various trainings delivered by the SSMA department for academic and professional development. * Provide support in reviewing SGSSMA documentation, SGSSMA audits, and participation in accident or incident analysis. * Support implementation of 7S in the Area. **Requirements and Qualifications** * Graduated starting from the 2025-I semester onward, or Bachelor’s degree in Safety Engineering, Mining Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Hygiene, Safety and Industrial Engineering. * Knowledge of OSH management systems and ISO 14001, 9001, and 45001 standards. * Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel and Power BI. **Additional Information** * Mining Unit: Cajamarquilla Refinery * Work Schedule: 5x2 At NEXA, we operate in a diverse environment where people feel free to be themselves.
